A dedicated team of highly skilled employees ensures the development and support of our signalling systems worldwide which makes use of the advanced wireless telecommunication system for train to wayside and wayside to wayside communication.

Role within 5G-VICTORI

Bombardier Transportation will provide knowledge and expertise in the rail signaling area to contribute to the system requirement and use case definition as well as the traffic characteristic definition of the signaling application used in tests on 5G infrastructure with focus on critical communication networks and massive IoT.

Experience

Bombardier Transportation RCS has been developing and deploying rail signalling solutions throughout the world for both mass transit and main line transportation. Aside from its experiences working with functioning systems, BT RCS is also active participating in EU financed research projects for next generation rail signalling solution including advance radio technology, cyber security, etc.
