IPTO-ADMIE’s participation in the Greek ECESCON-13
On April 15th – 17th, IPTO’s Department of Research Technology and Development participated as a major sponsor in the 13th Greek Electrical and Computer Engineering Students Conference (ECESCON), organized by the University of Patras (UoP).
ECESCON targets to build a competitive and trusted ecosystem for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Students to explore the state-of-the-art technologies that shape the future working environment in a variety of social, economic, and territorial contexts.
IPTO, through a booth and a workshop, aimed to inform the participants regarding the “Enabling Advancements in the Future Energy System”, based on the topics of the “Grid Enhancing Flexibilities”, the “Flexibility Markets” and the “5G Integration in the Future Power Systems”.
IPTO’s 5G-VICTORI research team (Mr. Nikolaos Tzanis and Mr. Eleftherios Mylonas) participated in the last session, where they presented the advantages of 5G technology towards the enablement of smart energy services and introduced the concept of the project, as well as the two use cases in which IPTO participates, specifically the Factories of the Future and the Energy High-Voltage.
